One monsoon in Mumbai

This book touches on multiple themes but I would like to think of it as a romance-thriller

Blurb : “If they’d been in a comic book, Adith would’ve been a supervillain, playing mind games with Vikram’s straight- arrow superhero. Tonight, the villian was going to play god of love ,saving the hero from his own stubborn stupidity”

(This line from 226th page of the iBook version would describe the two male characters best I feel)

Apart from these characters there is the protagonist Seema,an IB agent trying to get hold of a corrupt politician

Adith an aspiring politician who also happens to be son of a minister, aware of his father deeds he is still kind of honest.

And Vikram’s ,who is owner of a cybersecurity firm and also happens to be bestie of adith

📎What I liked?
The characters have enought back stories for reader to understand their pysche in a way and also the involvement of families, which at times ties their hands and makes the story more enriched

📎What did not worked for me?
I felt like the ending was a bit expected,it did not surprised me and the side stories in some chapters took away way too much space from the protagonist

Recommended? Yes
